Senator Nick Xenophon

Part: SA Independent

Seat:

Nick Xenophon, Like Senator Kate Lundy, had a deciding vote. Before the vote on the Fair Indexation  Bill, Senator Xenophon supported and "Advocated" the Fair Indexation of veterans Superannuation. Yet when it came time to vote, he sold out (again) to the Labor Party policy.

Responses to Letters: Senator Xenophon, like Senator Brown, has not responded to the letters or emails, He would rather have his staff send the responses. The responses to the letters logged on this site are copies of the letters sent.

If you have a letter sent to this person, we would love to publish it in this file, along with any responses. It will show just what these politicians are actively doing about military superannuation.

Unfair Indexation Yes No I am bitterly disappointed in the stance Senator Xenophon has taken on this matter. I have always voted for him - when he was in the SA Stage Parliament, and since becoming a Senator. I had always looked upon him as somebody prepared to stand up for the "common man", but, by voting against the Fair Indexation Bill for what I consider to be inadequate reasons, he has let down every retired Defence person struggling to live on an unfairly indexed Defence pension. He has lost my support.
